Job description of Instrument Engineer
Instrument engineering and construction activities at Shipyard, Geoje Korea.

The Graduate Instrument Engineer will support ongoing field installation activities with a view towards developing the candidate’s core instrument engineering skill set and familiarizationwith the Prelude equipment and plant layout. The candidate’s professional growth and development will be supported by the field engineering team including more senior instrument engineers.

Instrument scope is wide and varied, encompassing all manner of field instrumentation (including Analysers, Fiscal metering, HART, Foundation Fieldbus etc.), fire and gas detection equipment, rotary machinery instrumentation, safeguarding, and process control and monitoring devices.

High level accountabilities and responsibilities will include the following:

· Interfacing with the site quality/ inspection team and attending field inspections in order to monitor contractor installation activities. Highlighting and following-up on deficiencies.

· Developing technical skills in reading process and instrument flow diagrams, and utilizing these skill to participate in system completion walk-downs in support of the engineering team.

· Witnessing key instrumentation installation checks and measures, loop checks, site acceptance testing, while ensuring acceptable results achieved.

· Supporting the Flawless Project Delivery (FPD) campaign by performing field walkthroughs and identification and follow up of preservation deficiencies.

· Review of engineering and vendor documentation, as well as contractor generated commissioning documentation and commenting as required.

Job description of Equipment Engineer
The Graduate Rotating Equipment Engineer will support ongoing field installation activities with a view towards developing the candidate’s core rotating equipment discipline engineering skill set and familiarization with the Prelude equipment and plant layout. The candidate’s professional growth and development will be supported by the field engineering team including more senior rotating equipment engineers.

Rotating machinery scope is wide and varied, encompassing all manner of pumps, steam turbines, diesel engines, reciprocating and centrifugal compressors to name a few.

· Interfacing with the site quality/ inspection team and attending field inspections in order to monitor contractor installation activities. Highlighting and following-up on deficiencies.

· Developing technical skills in reading process and instrument flow diagrams, and utilizing these skill to participate in system completion walkdowns in support of the engineering team.

· Witnessing key machinery installation checks and measure, as well as site acceptance testing, while ensuring acceptable results achieved.

· Supporting the Flawless Project Delivery (FPD) campaign by performing field walkthroughs and identification and follow up of preservation deficiencies.

· Review of engineering and vendor documentation, as well as contractor generated commissioning documentation and commenting as required, supporting Prelude Technical Integrity Verification (TIV) campaign.
